Let the amount that Daisy has = x. Then Joo Lun has x + 20. And the amount that Florence has is 2(x + 20).

So we have

x + x + 20 + 2(x + 20)  = 268     simplify

2x + 20 + 2x + 40 = 268

4x + 60 = 268      subtract 60 from both sides

4x = 208       divide both sides by 4
