how do I get the decimal answer to ln(x)?
lets say; ln5
I know the answer to be estimated to 1,61 by looking at the graph (f(x)=e^x).
Just want to not have to look at the graph for each ln(x) question

example: (Natural exponential functions)

"Write as f(x)=e^kx"

f(x)=5^x = (e^ln5)^x = (e^1,61)^x = e^1,61x

Don't quite understand your question!. Do you want to know how to take the natural log(ln) of a number on the calculator? if so, then this what you do. Enter 5. Under the word "log", there is a tiny arrow . Click on it and you will see "ln" key. Click this key and then press = key to get your answer.
