Radians and degrees are both angle measures.
There are 2*pi radians in a circle and
there are 360 degrees in a circle.
\(2\pi\;radians = 360\; degrees\\ so\\ x\; radians =(\frac{360}{2\pi})x\;degrees\\ and\\ x\;degrees = (\frac{2\pi }{360})x\;radians\)
Most times you can use either.
For most real life things you would us degrees.
Like surveyers would always work in degrees. Compas bearings are in degrees.
Radians are more often used in advanced mathematics.
You probably have not used calculus yet but some of it only workks if you use radians.
