What is the density of a piece of cement that has a mass of 8.76 g and a volume of 3.07 cm3?

Mass = Density * Volume

 

So.......divide both sides by Volume 

 

Density  = Mass / Volume  =  8.76 g / 3.07 cm^3  ≈  2.853 g / cm^3
