you mean solve?? and its (2x-5x +2) / (x-12)

So 2 - 12 = (-10) you cannot add or subtract unlike terms. so far you have 2x-5x / x-10 so (-5x) / x = -5x so you have 2x-5x -10 as your simplified expression, add a final answer to simplify it further and get the value of x.

Using polynomial division, we have

               2x +19

x - 12    [ 2x^2 -5x + 2 ]

               2x^2 -24x

              -------------------

                        19x + 2

                        19x - 228

                        ________

                                230

So the result is   2x + 19   +  [ 230] / [ x - 12]
