Yep....the slope of your line =   - ( 1/ -3) = 1/3

And the point is ( -3, 7)

Do you want to  try it, RP???

I'll check it

OK....using my method we have

y = slope ( x -   x coordinate ) + y coordinate

y = (1/3) ( x -  - 3 )    + 7

y = (1/3)( x + 3) + 7

y = (1/3)x + (1/3)(3) + 7

y = (1/3)x + 1 + 7

y = (1/3)x + 8

Is that easy, RP ???
