And the point is ( -3, 7)

Can you maybe set up the equation, I dont get that part...
OK....using my method we have
y = slope ( x - x coordinate ) + y coordinate
y = (1/3) ( x - - 3 ) + 7
y = (1/3)( x + 3) + 7
y = (1/3)x + (1/3)(3) + 7
y = (1/3)x + 1 + 7
y = (1/3)x + 8
