Does anyone know what 'x=' for the equation

2/3(3x+9)=-2(2x+6)      expand and simplify to find 'x'

2x + 6 = 4x + 12         subtract 2x from both sides of the equation

6 = 2x + 12                  Subtract 12 from both sides

-6 = 2x                         divide both sides by 2

-3 = x
