Find the domain of $\frac{x^2 + 10x + 21}{x^2 + 4x + 5} + \sqrt{x - 4}$. (Express your answer using interval notation.)
The first function is defined for all x since no real number makes the denominator = 0
So....it's only the second function that we need to consider
The quantity under the root cannot be less than 0....so.......x cannot be less than 4
So the domain is [ 4, infinty )
