What is the domain of the function f(x)=(x + 6)/sqrt(x^2-3x)?
Any x that makes the denominator = 0 is not in the domain
sqrt (x^2 - 3x)
But x^2 - 3x must be > 0
So
x^2 - 3x > 0
x ( x - 3) > 0
This is true if x < 0 or x > 3
So.....the domain is
(-inf , 0) U (3 , inf)
