I think I know what is happening.

\(\frac{5\sqrt{5}}{5\sqrt{5}} = 1\)

BUT

\(5 \times \frac{\sqrt{5}}{5} \times \sqrt{5} = 5\)

If you do not put parenthesees around the denominator, the calculator only thinks that the number immediately after the "/ "  goes in the denominator.

You need to enter it into the calculator like this:

[5sqrt(5)]/[5sqrt(5)]
