I think you meant  e = mc^2 , Mr Einstein.....

this shows the amount of energy (e) in a given mass (m) is equal to that mass times the speed of light (c) SQUARED.

The speed of light is a really big number (3 x 10^ m/s) , so you can see how only a small mass can make such a HUGE nuclear explosion......or power a city for a very long time.....etc.
