N + N = N * N
2N = N^2 subtract 2N from each side
0 = N^2 - 2N factor
0 = N ( N - 2) setting each factor to 0, we have
N = 0
or
N - 2 = 0 add 2 to both sides

So...we actually have two numbers that work ......0 and 2 !!!!
