Pick a value for 'x' ....calculate the 'y' value
pick another value of 'x' calculate this 'y'........draw a line through the two plotted points
Another way is to find the x and y intercepts and connect them
x intercept occurs when y = 0 0 = - 2(x) + 7 solve for the 'x'
y intercept occurs when x = 0 y = -2(0) + 7 solve for the 'y'
