Eqution of Ellipse

The equation form we need is

(x + 9)^2              (y + 3)^2  

________   +      _________   =  1

    a^2                      b^2

a  = the length of the major axis / 2  =  14/2   = 7   ⇒  a^2  =  49   

c  = the distance from the center to the focii  = 3 ⇒  c^2  =  9

b^2  =   a^2  - c^2   =  49 - 9   = 40

So we have

(x+ 9)^2               (y + 3)^2
