Simplify the following:
-(2+5/9) (-(1+4/5))

(-1)^2 = 1:
2+5/9 1+4/5

Put 1+4/5 over the common denominator 5. 1+4/5  =  5/5+4/5:
(2+5/9) 5/5+4/5

5/5+4/5  =  (5+4)/5:
(2+5/9) (5+4)/5

5+4 = 9:
(2+5/9)×9/5

Put 2+5/9 over the common denominator 9. 2+5/9  =  (9×2)/9+5/9:
((9×2)/9+5/9 9)/(5)

9×2  =  18:
((18/9+5/9)×9)/(5)

18/9+5/9  =  (18+5)/9:
((18+5)/9×9)/(5)

| 1 |
| 1 | 8
+ |  | 5
| 2 | 3:
23/9×9/5

23/9×9/5 = (23×9)/(9×5):
(23×9)/(9×5)

(23×9)/(9×5) = 9/9×23/5 = 23/5:
Answer: | 23/5=4.6
