Hello ! :)

I wonder if anyone could correct me or help me to resolve this ?

1. Evaluate the function f(t) = 6t^3 - 4t^2 + t -7 For thr following values of t

(a) t = 1 ? Could somone explain me what I have to do ?

From what I understand, t = 1 SO do i have to plug T as 1 everytime I see a T ?

So 6*1^3 - 4*t^2 + 1-7 ? IS THAT CORRECT ?

but then ? What does it mean to evalute the function? What do I have to do ?

Best, and THANK YOU

Thalys :)

'Evaluate the function' for t= 1   means what is the value of this function when t = 1   (or t= 2 or t= 4   etc)..... so yes,   put '1' in for 't' and see what value results....that is it!   You did it!
