Hi! Um, I need help on these ASAP please and thank you. I am completely unsure how to do them, and if someone can explain how to do them that would be great. I don't want to get anything wrong. Thank you so much!!!
Opposit angles in a quadrilateral add to 180 (supplementary)
1. 3x+6 + x+2 = 180
4x = 172
x = 43 A= 3x+6 = 3 x 43 + 6 = 135 degrees
2 and 3 are similar
4 all of the angles in a quadrilateral add to 360
Second one :
4x - 20 + x = 180
5x - 20 = 180 add 20 to both sides
5x = 160 divide both sides by
x = 32°
Third one :
116 + x = 180 subtract 116 from both sides
x = 64
So A = 2(64) - 40 = 128 - 40 = 88°
Last one :
x + 10 + x + 24 = 180
2x + 34 = 180 subtract 34 from both sides
2x = 146 divide both sides by 2
x = 73
So
A + C = 180
(x + 15) + C = 180
(73 + 15) + C = 180
88 + C = 180 subtract 88 from both sides
C = 92°
