Say you want 3 to be raised to the power of 5, then you do 3^5. If you want to raise 3^5 to x number (let's use 2) you would simply do 3^5^2.

When something is an exponent you have to multiply the base by itself . The raised number tells you haow many times to multiply it by itself.

Ex: x^3=x*x*x
