f(x) = x2 - 5

For the function shown, what is the range of the function when the domain is {2, 4, 7}?

A){-1, 44}

B){-1, -5}

C){6, 21, 54}

D){-1, 11, 44}

Factor the polynomial completely. x2 + 16

A)(x + 4)(x + 4)

B)(x - 4)(x - 4)

C)(x + 4)(x - 4)

D)cannot be factored

 Given V = 2πr2h, solve for h

A)h = V/2r2

B)h = V2πr2

C)h = V - 2πr2

D)h = V/2πr2

f(x)  = x^2  - 5

When the domain is 2, the range is -1

When the domain is  4, the range is 11

When the domain is 7, the range is 44

"D"  is correct

x^2 + 16

The sum of two squares can never be factored in real number terms

V  = 2*pi*r^2*h     divide both sides by  2*pi* r^2

V / [ 2 * pi *r^2 ]  =  h =  "D"
