can you factor 27x^6+64y^12

27x^6 +64y^3

you need to look at the way to factor a^3 + b^3:

a^3 + b^3 = (a + b)(a^2 - ab + b^2)

cube root of 27x^6 = 3x^2
cube root of 64y^3 = 4y

so:

27x^6 +64y^3 = (3x^2 + 4y)(9y^4 - 12x^2 * y + 16y^2)
