12x2 - 4x + 1 = 0
From what my teacher has taught us, we multiply the 12 and 1 to get 12 and then use its factors to get to -4 but the only factors I can find are -6 and 2, which when multiplied equal -12. Any help is appreciated!!
There must be a typo here. This polynomial can't be factored over the reals.
Dang, really? I'll speak with my teacher about this, thank you so much anyway!!!
