x6 + 2x3 + 1

Since this is a perfect square, it can be factored as:

(x3 + 1)(x3 + 1)

Each of these factors is a perfect cube, so it can be factored as:

(x + 1)(x2 - x + 1)(x + 1)(x2 - x + 1)

This can be rewritten as:  (x + 1)2((x2 - x + 1)2
