I can't tell for sure what that question means, but I'll make a guess?
An equation with an "i" (to an odd power) in it, cannot be graphed
because "i" is an imaginary number and doesn't have a value.

This answer caused me to flash on y = 1/x.
That graph has two lines that don't intersect.
