2e^-0.07t=8   divide both sides by 2

e^ (-.0.07t)  = 4     take the Ln of both sides

Ln e^(-0.07 t)  = Ln 4      and by a log property we can write

-0.07 t    = Ln 4             divide both sides by -0.07

t =  Ln 4 / -0.07 ≈  -19.8
