Find k so that f(x)=(Piecewise function) is continuous for all x

f(x)  =  (x^2  - 16)  / ( x - 4)    =  (x + 4) (x - 4) / (x - 4)  =  x + 4

If x  could be 4,  we  would have   ( 4) + 4  =  8

So  k  =  8     will make the function continuous
