[x^2 + x - 2 ]  /  [x^3 + 2x^2 - 3x ]  =

[(x - 1)(x + 2)] / [ x ( x + 3) ( x - 1) ] =

[ x + 2 ] / [ x (x + 3) ]

This graph will have vertical asymptotes at x = 0 and x = -3 and a discontinuity  -   a ("hole")   -   at x = 1

Here's a graph.....https://www.desmos.com/calculator/zyytyjvhj6
