find point slope formula of y - 2 = 2(x +3)

You already have the point-slope form...I think you might mean slope-intercept form...

Add 2 to both sides

y = 2(x + 3) + 2    simplify

y = 2x + 6 + 2

y = 2x + 8

And that's the slope-intercept form.

y - 2 = 2(x + 3) --> We want a form: y = mx + b with m = slope and b = y-intercept

y - 2 = 2x + 6 -->

y = 2x + 8.
