Easy....

In the form   ax2 + bx + c = 0

The discriminant  is

b^2 - 4ac

So....for

x^2 + 2x + 3 = 0                a = 1       b = 2     and c = 3

So.....the discriminant is

(2)^2 - 4(1)(3) =

4 - 12 =

-8

Based on this.....Can you figure out the other two GM ????

Oh no... these are not questions! I'm just simply showing my work after getting the discriminant for problem number 86 and 87. As you see I follow the steps and got the right answer. Just wanted for you to know.
