Put the points in slope form

m = (-4) - (-6)/(-2) - (-7)

Solve

m = 2/5

Now put the numbers in slope-intercept form, and pick one point (im doing (-2, -4))

-4 = 2/5(-2) + b

Multiply

-4 = -4/5 + b

add on both sides

-3 1/5 = b

Now plug m and b into the eqation again

y = 2/5x - 3 1/5

Really? That's the only way I know how to solve those type of questions, how did you learn to do it?

Don't worry about it....I checked both of the points in your equation and it was all good....in fact, I kind of like your way better than the way I learned it...LOL!!!
