Put the points in slope form
m = (-4) - (-6)/(-2) - (-7)
Solve
m = 2/5
Now put the numbers in slope-intercept form, and pick one point (im doing (-2, -4))
-4 = 2/5(-2) + b
Multiply
-4 = -4/5 + b
add on both sides
-3 1/5 = b
Now plug m and b into the eqation again
y = 2/5x - 3 1/5

That's an interesting technique, saseflower.....I don't think I've seen it done that way before.....very nice....!!!!
Really? That's the only way I know how to solve those type of questions, how did you learn to do it?
