Find the ordered pair, (s,t) that satisfies the system
\(\begin{align*} \dfrac{s}{2} - 3t &= -1, \\ 3t - 2s &= 3. \end{align*}\)
If you add both equations together, you can use elimination to get rid of the t variable.
s/2 - 2s = 2
s - 4s = 4
-3s = 4
s = -4/3
Substitute s back into equation 2 and you obtain:
t = 1/9
