Find the slope of the line containing the points P1 and P2:

P1(6, -4)     P2(4, -2)

To find the slope, it is the difference in y value and different in x value

-4 - ( -2) divided by 6 - 4

This is -2 over 2

which also is -1

I hope this helped,
