log base 5 x=-4/3 find value of x

 

\(log_5(x)=\frac{4}{3}\) 

 

\(x=5^\frac{4}{3}=\sqrt[3]{5^4} =\sqrt[3]{5\times5^3}\)

 

\(x=5\times\sqrt[3]{5} \) = 8.5499   laugh  !

log5 x  =  −4/3   means

 

5 ^(−4/3)  =  (1/5)^(4/3)   =  [(1/5)^4] ^(1/3)   =  [ 1/625]^(1/3)  = 1 / (5 * ∛5] ≈ 0.117

 

 

log27 x  =  −1/3    means

 

27^( −1/3)    =   (1/27)^(1/3)  = 1/ ∛27   = 1/3
