cot θ= 0.767, find sec θ and csc θ

cot θ = x / y     so x = .767 and y = 1

We need to find r   =  sqrt (.767^2  + 1)  = about 1.2603

sec θ  = r / x =  1.2603 / .767  = about 1.643

And

csc  θ  = r / y =  1.2603 / 1 =   1.2603

Realize that the cotangent is also positive in the 3rd quadrant which would make the above values of sec and csc negative, if theta was in that quadrant
