answer is \(2/5+8/11=62/55\)

5x=56K+1

5*-11=-55   and   56*-1+1=-55

so -11 is the inverse of 5

--------------------------

11p=56t+1     

11*-5=56*-1+1

so -5 is the inverse of 11

----------------------

2*-11+8*-5=  -22-40 = -62 

-62 is equiv to  112-62 = 50 (mod 56)

 

I think that is correct...
