How do I find the slope from this equation?

-3x + 2y = 10

I like to first get my "y" on the left side and the "x" on the other side. You do this by performing the opposite equasion to the "x" and the same to the other side of the equal sign. Like this:

-3x + 2y = 10

+3X           +3X

So now you have:

2Y=3X+10

Now to get "Y" by itself, you divide by two on both sides. Then you will have:

Y=3/2X+10

So your slope is 3/2.
