I assume this is for a cylinder....so we have
50 = pi * r^2 (2) divide both sides by 2pi
50/[ 2pi] = r^2 take the positive root of both sides
√[50/ (2pi)] = √[25/pi] = 5/√pi = r = about 2.82 units
