What does is mean if there's a fraction with a denominator of 0?! CALCULATOR CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT!!! AHHHH!!!!

It means that the fraction is undefined since we cannot divide by 0

 

 

Here's why

 

6 / 2  = 3       means that the  result, (3),  times the denominator, (2),  returns the numerator, ( 6 )

 

But what about  :

 

6 / 0   =  b  ???  

 

This would mean that b * 0  = 6  ......but this is impossible since anything times 0 should return 0.....!!!!

 

That's why the calculator goes into convulsions.....!!!!!
