First off my dear friend. Before you ask a question you need to know the surroundings. Is what I say inside my classrooms.
What does sin mean and cos? What do they look like? How do you do them? etc. Answer those then tell me so then I can help you with the rest and give you a better understanding.

If sin(x)=24/25, what are two possible values of cos(x)?

Draw a right angled triangle.
Put the x in one of the acute angles.
now sin(x)=24/25 mark the appropriate sides 24 and 25.
Now think, how do you find the 3rd side?
You can now read cos(x) off your triangle.
Now this gives only one answer because it relates only to acute angles but x might not be an acute angle.
Can you work out what the other answer is?
