Evaluate the function y = 17 – x when x = –6
y = 23
put 17-(-6) into the calculator and it will give you the answer. Dont forget the parenthsces :) (dont know how to spell parenthsces lol)
y = 17 - x
when x = -6
y = 17 - (-6) = 17 +6 = 23
