Function h(x) = -0,001x^2 + x.
A cannonball covers a trajectory that you can trace with h(x) = -0,001x^2 + x.
h is the height of the cannonball from the ground in metres and x is the covered distance horizontally
1a. Fill in the table
1b. What would be the highest altitude the cannonball reached?
Thanks!
h(x)= y for the table....just substitute the value of 'x' in to the equation to find the 'y' value for the table
Example x = 0
h(x) = y = -0.001(0)^2 + 0 = 0
h(x) = y = -0.001(200)^2 + 200 = 160
Fill in the rest of the table the same way and you will find the highest value (given the values of x that you have in the table)
Post back if you need more help.....
