Function f has an inverse. The graph of function f's inverse passes through (3,-6).

Define g(x)=2f(3x)-5. Function g also has an inverse.

What point must the graph of g's inverse pass through?

thanks so much!

Not great at these, but I'll give this a try

f(x) must  have  the point   (-6,3)   [ the inverse would reverse these coordinates  ]

f (3x)  compresses  the graph  of f(x)  by  factor of 3  so ( -6/3 , 3) = ( -2,3)  would be on this graph

And   2 f(3x)   means  the point  (-2, 2*3)   =    (-2, 6)  is on this  graph

And  2 f(3x)  - 5    means the point  (-2 , 6 - 5)  =    ( -2, 1)   is on this graph

So

(1,-2)  is on  the inverse  of  g

cool cool cool
