for g(x)=4-5x, determine the input for x when the output of g(x) is 

a) -6

b) 3.5

\(\small{ \begin{array}{rcl} 3.5 &=& 4 - 5x \\ 5x &=& 4-3.5\\ 5x &=& 0.5 \\ \mathbf{x} & \mathbf{=} & \mathbf{0.1} \end{array} } \)
