First.....we can solve
[ 4x + 1 ] / 3 = 1
4x + 1 = 3
4x = 2
x = 2/4 = 1/2
So ( 1/2, 1) is on the orginal graph
So..... (1, 1/2) is on the inverse
So....
[ f -1 (1) ] -1 = [ (1/2) ]-1 = 1 / (1/2) = 2
