So I have to fine the geometric mean of 3 and 15.  I know how to do that you just multiply them and then take the square root of that result and here is what I got - √45=6.7082039324993691

But my answer needs so be in this form - ?√?

How do I put it in that form?

Look for the prime factors of 45.  These are 3*3*5  or 32*5.

This means √45 = √(32*5) = √(32)*√5 or 3√5
