I need to find the geometric probility of this question.

 

A Radio starion gives a wearher report every 15 minutes. Each report is 45 seconds. find the probility you turn on the radio and have to wait more them 5 minutes?

 

I need help so I can figure out my homework for geometery.

If the 45 seconds I a part of the 15 minutes AND you want to hear all of the report Then it will be 2/3 chance of waiting more than 5 minutes.

If the 15 minutes starts after the 45 second report, then the answer is a 33.33% chance of turning on the radio and waiting over minutes forthe report.
