How do I figure out the height of a triangle when I only know the length of the hypotenuse and the area?
Let the Base =B
Let the Height=h
Hypoteuse =H
B^2 + h^2 =H^2, which you know;..............(1)
[B + h ] / 2=Area, which you know...........(2)
Solve for h and B, because you have 2 simultaneous equations.
