Hello! I am doing novanet (for those who do not know, it is classes taken on the computer at school), and I do not have any help for my geometry.

I am in geometry second semester and I cannot figure out how to do the area of Regular Polygons when variables are missing.

For instance, one problem is:

Find the area of a square with the apothem 9in. Round to the nearest whole number.

It shows a square with a dashed line going from the center point to the side, a right angle box, and it is labeled 9 in. The choices are as follows:

a) 281 in^2
b) 305 in^2
c) 324 in^2
d) 458 in^2

It is not just this, but other polygons that have square roots in them that make me confused as well. For example, Find the area of a regular hexagon with apothem 2 mm. Round to the nearest whole number.

If anyone could help me, please let me know or email me at:

Thank you very much!
