a vertical flagpole is supported by wire braces attached to the ground at several points that lie on a circle at the base of the flagpole. Each wore brace is attached to the flagpole at the same height. HOw would you explain why the braces will all be the same length? ( assume the ground is a horizontal plane)
a. Using the SAS Postulate, the triangles and braces will be congruent, therefore the braces will be at the same length
b.Using the SSS Postulate, ( info up there is the same here)
c. Using the ASA Postulate, ( info up there is the same here)
d. Using the AAS Postulate, ( info up there is the same here)

could you explain the problem, i dont get it
THANKS

Does S stand for side, and A for angle? If so, the answer is a. The triangles are equal because they share a side, the angle by that side is 90 degrees, and the other side of that angle is the radius of the circle which is always the same.

I personally do not like this question - it tests the knowledge of jargon more than it does the knowledge of geometry.
