gym members are instructed to lift their legs up at a 60 degree angle during leg lifts. One memeberhas legs that are 30 inches long.what is the height in inches of the members feet duringthe leg lift. if necessary round decimal awnsers to the nearest tenth

We can use the sine, here

 

sin (60)  = H / 30   where H is the height we are interested in.......

 

Multiply both sides by 30

 

30 *  sin (60)   = H

 

30 * sqrt (3) / 2   = H

 

15 * sqrt (3)  =  H  ≈  25.98 inches
