If triangle ABC has sides of 3, 4, and 5, then after dilation by a scale factor of 5, sides of triangle A'B'C' will be 5 times larger but the angles will stay the same.

The sides will be in the ratio of 1:5

The angles will all stay the same.

The figures will be similar.  (They are the same shape but the new one is just 5 times bigger than the original one)
